Wisewood burials transcription check?

Evening all,

Is it possible to check the transcription of the following? The surname of the first two was BURSNELL and the third is consistently Ronald rather than Roland in public records and family trees:

BURNELL, George Edward (Retired, age 85).
Died at 80 Handsworth Road Handsworth; Buried on September 7, 1957 in Unconsecrated ground;
Grave Number 4996, Section H of Wisewood Cemetery, Sheffield.

BURNELL, Sarah Jane (Wife of George E, age 75).
Died at 16 Cross King James Street Walkley; Buried on April 21, 1950 in Unconsecrated ground;
Grave Number 4996, Section H of Wisewood Cemetery, Sheffield.

SALES, Roland William (Retired, age 59).
Died at 80 Handsworth Road Handsworth; Buried on September 10, 1982 in Unconsecrated ground;
Grave Number 4996, Section H of Wisewood Cemetery, Sheffield.

TIA
Hugh

Re: Wisewood burials transcription check?

Hello Hugh
I have looked at the original page and it is clearly written as Roland.
I did try to contact Vicki Theaker but my message was returned - not delivered?

Hi Christine/Hugh,

FreeBMD

Deaths Sep 1957
BURSNELL George E 85 Sheffield 2d 123

As you know we do not change what is written in any register even if we know it to be incorrect. We can add a note.

Let me know if thats what you would like Hugh.

Thanks Christine and Elaine,

It's a minor point for me, since I found them using the ever-useful wildcards. But I think it would be good to add a note for other passing pilgrims.

Re: Wisewood burials transcription check?

Hello Elaine and Hugh
Sorry to mess you about. I did not read all of Hugh's message. In the Sept 7th 1957 entry it does say Bursnell. The 1950 entry is badly written but on a closer look, it does say Bursnell.
Cuss loud enough and I'll hear you!
Apologies again, Christine
