I have found a marriage record for a Joshua Gill to Elizabeth Stone on the 28 - 08 - 1776 in Sheffield but I am not sure if this is the correct marriage of Mary's parent's

Mary Gill - Baptised Sheffield 16 Apr 1777 (some transcriptions say 17th or 18th but the original is the 16th). Father Joshua Gill - Cutler.
Marriage of Joshua Gill to Elizabeth Stones, 28 Aug 1776, in Sheffield.
(I cant find another marriage that looks right, and given that one of Luke and Marys daughters was named Elizabeth - I think that these are very likely Marys parents. But because we're in the 1700s theres never any concrete way of proving).
I've then found the following burials which look promising:
Joshua Gill - Cutler, Buried 21 Oct 1798, St Peter and St Paul Cathedral Sheffield
Elizabeth Gill - Widow, aged 64, Address: Heeley, Buried 27 May 1817, St Peter and St Paul Cathedral, Sheffield.
(If Elizabeth was 64 than her birth would have been about 1753/54 which would be the right age range if she married in 1776).
