Good Morning,

My great great grandfather Henry Mercer retired to Sheffield from Hull in the 1880's and died on the 5th January 1908 in Sheffield. Any burial information would be much appreciated.

His first wife Louise Juliette EMERSON died in Sheffield on the 6th March 1884 and any burial information would be appreciated.

Henry married 2nd Charlotte O'BRIEN on the 3 December 1892 presumably in Sheffield and they had two children as follows:

1. Lance MERCER - no further information about him.
2. Kathleen O'Brien MERCER - no further information about her

Any information on this family unit would be much appreciated.

I found Henry and Louisa in the Anglican Section of the General Cemetery, Sheffield - both in Grave No. M2 84.

Henry Mercer died 5th Jan 1908, buried 8th Jan 1908. 67y old, Commercial Agent of 8 Havelock Square.

Louise Juliette Mercer died 6th Mar 1884, buried 8th Mar 1884. 39 years old, Wife of Henry mercer, Commission Agent of 21 Botanical Road.

In 1881 the family are living at Lord Street, Gainsborough.

Louise Juliette Mercer gives her place of birth as 'Havre, France' British Subject.

There is also another son called Henry Lancelot Mercer,aged 1yr born Gainsborough.

In 1851, Gainsborough, Henry Mercer, born Hull, is with his parents, Fletcher Mercer and
Millicent Ann Mercer.
