I have come to a bit of a standstill with the Goodison clan. I believe Benjamin Goodison, married to Eliza Padley in 1838 in Ecclesfield. Lived in Wortley area. I am unable to trace his father or to find the correct father. I can't find a full copy of Benjamin and Eliza's wedding in 1837. I found a couple of possible parents for Benjamin, Who I believe was born around 1814. I found a baptism for a Benjamin Goodison. It says the father is William Goodison and mother Ann. However, I can find no further details or even know if this is the correct baptism records?

There might also be some clue in how they named their children. eg I think they had a daughter in 1838 named Ann (?) she could be named after either Benjamin or Elizas mother?
