Was there an Oughtibridge Bowls Club around c1900. I have some Bowls medals that belonged to my Grandfather William Ibbotson. One has the inscription of O.B.B.B presented to W Ibbotson, but no date. As my Grandfather originated from Oughtibridge before coming to Kent in 1909. I am wondering if it possibly relates to an Oughtibridge Bowls Club ?

Stocksbridge History Society have a website which maybe able to help also the Stocksbridge and Deepcar have a facebook page. Deepcar is the next village to Oughtibridge. Hope this may help
