According to the local newspapers an inquest was opened and adjourned, but I cannot find a report of its resumption.
The GRO death index lists unidentified people as 'Unknown Male' or 'Unknown Female'. There are no such entries for Sheffield in the relevant quarter. Could this mean he was identified and registered under his name?
