Can anyone tell me where Dene Lane in Sheffield is/was? I'm trying to work on a family which may or may not be a solution to my 'brick wall' and in 1911 they lived on Dene Lane and I can't think that I have ever heard of myself. Any help much appreciated.

Dene Lane appears on a web site entitled Our Broomhall as one of the streets that used to be in the area.

On the Companies House web site, on a page regarding Stokes’ Tiles, it says ‘Land and buildings bounded by bath street, dene lane’.

An old directory which I have lists Dene Lane as starting at 64 Egerton Street and running up to the point between numbers 77 and 93 Bath Street. Numbers 14, 16 and 18 Dene Lane were in courts.
