RE Underbank Chapel Stannington and use of WILD CARD.
First let me say if I have missled any researchers I apologize.
I was under the impression that Underbank was a Chapelry of St Nicholas Bradfield as some of Underbank entries are in St Nicholas Baptismal Registers. Its not.
We have just been though the registers/database and have to the best of our abilities corrected any that were miss labeled or incorrectly transcribed.
I would just like to remind Oldies & Newbies when searching it is always wise to use the WILD CARD. i.e. James Oll* for James Ollerenshaw. Same person can have been spelt different ways and we have to transcribe what is there not what we know is correct.
