Hi all, iam desperate for some help if anyone can.
My grandad Charles Green born 1923.
His dad Charles Green born c1882 married Annie Yeardley born c1884.
Annie's dad William Yeardley born c1837 married Ellen Wheelhouse born c1845.
William's dad George Yeardley born c1804 married Mary Wheelhouse born c1806.
Have I gone wrong somewhere or can anyone explain the link or if it a coincidence that they married ladies of the same surname? Also if anyone has any information going further back than these dates it would be much appreciated as I seem to be at a loss.

John Wheelhouse married Olivia Stones in 1842. You need info from that marriage in order to identify John's age and his father.
It looks like Mary Wheelhouse was baptised in 1807 and that non conformist baptism will give her parents (FMP).
Wheelhouse was a very common name in that period in Yorkshire, so what you have with the 2 Wheelhouse ladies is very possible. Following the 2 back in time should sort it out.
