*************************************************************************************
As you can see this is all the info I have except for the baptism of Lidia where it states his occupation is a shether.(Sheather)
William was quoted on his other childrens baptisms as a Lab which I presume is an ag lab.
They were from the Dore/Totley area. Which was in the Parish of Dronfield at that time.He became a Farmer probably took over his fathers property.
Down the generations this family moved on to Mayfield Valley/Fulwood.They tenanted a large number of fields in the area.
I want to say this is not him but one of my William's children Ann has a daughter which she calls Lidia who married a Hawksworth who also connect to the family.
Hannah Dungworth for those Dungworth researchers is my first contact with the Dungworth
name which happens over the centuries many many times. My g/grandfather George *Dungworth Woodhouse (*after his mother) was the last in 1852.
So Moira and I have the same connection. Its these little "maybe's" that make all this very interesting. Do we flip a coin Moira.LOL.
I have done no work on this line since we last spoke about it, I just became
so frustrated about where and who to join the lines together. I still think
we are on the right track.
Ralph, the father of William, died in 1704 when William was only about
five years old and there were three other siblings underage, so, when Willam
was old enough, was he 'farmed' out.
