Can any one tell me what is the best web site to trace families in Canada. I am trying to trace the Chattaway Family who emigrated to Ontario Canada> have traced some of the details by other researchers and I have tried Ontario Canada BMD but no results.

Canada is not like England with one central agency looking after BMD's. Each Provence looks after its own.

Very few have been digitized.

The offical site for Ontario "seems" to be linked with Ancestry. I only have the UK membership with them so I was unable to check it out.

By the way if you could give dates that would help.
