One of my ancestors died in Penistone Workhouse in 1914.
I would like to know where the admittance records/ burial details etc can be located?

Sheffield Archives should have a copy of any records for Penistone Workhouse. But my vague understanding is that not many of the records for Penistone actually survive.

If you provide details of your ancestor then someone might be able to help you further with your search.

If you look on the workhouse site by Peter Higginbottom it does state that virtually no records have survived for Penistone Workhouse.
