Does anyone know if there has been a book written about Lockwood Bros, I have found numerous newspaper articles and would like to learn more. My great grandfather Joseph Sellars played for them, I found an Illustration taken from a photograph taken by Mr Dalton of Sheffield Moor of the winning side that won the Sheffield Football Association Challenge Cup and Lord Warncliffes Charity Cup in the 1883/84 season and am wondering if there would be a copy of the original photograph anywhere and where would be the best place to search for it or other photographs of that era, I have looked at the online collection in the Sheffield Archives without any success.
Also my grandfather and sister attended where born and lived in and around Derbyshire lane in the 1890's and early 1900's does anyone know what school it is likely they attended.
