When looking at Parish records, the birthdate of my cousin is incorrect, we were both baptised together at Wadsley, May 12th 1963. Richard William Dickens birthday is 31/1/63 and mine Melanie Jayne Reeve is 31/12/62. Our birth dates have been mixed up.

Transcriptions are "as is" so perhaps the vicar who baptised you wrote the dates of birth in the baptism register the wrong way round. I'm sure Vicki will check this out.

I have checked the original and both birth dates are entered as 31 December 1962
