Hello, just wondering if anyone can help, I am looking for the maiden name of Emma Cartledge,
Emma was born abt 1796 and died in 1872, Emma married William Cartledge in Beighten in 1815, and their first child William was born in 1815 in Masbro, followed by Jane in 1817, Andrew, Caroline, Rachel, Harriet and Daniel, it would be great if I could find out Emma's maiden name.

As they came from Beighton (where I live) how sure are you that the baptisms where at Masbro (Yorkshire)
They lived at Hackenthorpe Brook Lane which was in the parish of Beighton and the baptisms of the children you have named are at Beighton St Marys. Most of the Staniforths lived at Brook Lane Hackenthorpe.
