I am pleased to announce that Christ Church Attercliffe Burials 1813-1914 are now online and fully searchable.
Please be aware for some entries the service was held at Christ Church but the burial itself took place at Attercliffe Cemetery.
These cemetery records are also online for the period 1859-1887.
The notations of OY, NCY etc. probably stands for Old Yard and New Church Yard.
There are also some names of Cholera victims of the epidemic in 1832. They were not buried at Christ Church but are in this register as the vicar writes that there wasn’t one kept for the
Cholera Burial Ground.
Thank you to Denise and Terry for the photography, all transcribers and checkers for their help in getting this project completed.
