St Nicholas Bradfield Burials 1723-1812

Hi everyone

Pleased to announce that the St Nicholas Bradfield Burials are now online for the period
30 Mar 1723 to 29 Dec 1812

The records are searchable, but please be aware of the following…
The Gregorian Calendar was adopted in 1752, prior to that the year started 25 March on Lady Day.

The abbreviations and spellings used by the scribe are not consistent.
The ‘e’ ‘o’ and ‘i’s all look very similar and can vary even on the same page.
For example.
Stannington, Stanninton, Staninton
Oulerton, Owlerton
Bramal, Brammal,Brammel,Brammall
Gilot, Gillot, Gillott

So be flexible with your searches and use the wild card symbol * to get the best results.

Thank you to Terry for the photography and all transcribers and checkers.

Vicki, when I click on 'find similar in same grave' in this file I get an alphabetical list of over 5000 individuals.

That function only works when a grave number has been entered Dave.
The registers we worked from do not have that information I'm afraid.
