I got your address from Sheffield indexes and hope you can help.
I am looking for any information on members of my family who I believe have passed away but I can't find any confirmation.
The names are Arthur Victor, Vera, Brian,Violet and George Wakelin.
George was the father to Arthur and Brian
I know that Arthur,Vera,and George lived at 41 Highgate Sheffield and Brian and Violet lived in Firth Park but don't know where buried or cremated.

Firth Park residents would probably be in Shiregreen Cemetery or City Rd Cemetery.

Our burial records are up to 1991 ish.

You would have to contact City Rd Bereavement Services for a grave search after that year.

From FMP i have 2 Georges died in 1966 & 1971.
Vera 2001

That's all i can find, you don't give any dates.

Just to add to Terry's observation......

Using FreeBMD.
George Wakelin who died in Sheffield 1966 aged 42 making him born 1924.
A birth registered in Doncaster in 1924. MMN Penalor.

George Wakelin who died 1971 BD. 23rd Sep 1887. There is a birth in Pontefract registered Dec 1887.

Hi Steve, Found this Arthur Wakelin married Vera Goodrum April 1945 Sheffield, Also Arthur Victor Wakelin born 1919 died Sheffield 2009, Vera Wakelin born 1926 died Sheffield 2001, Could be yours? regards Barry

Two Wakelin's lived Wallace Road, Brian and George, some of their kids have baptisms on this site, and a marriage for another.

The addresses were from Directories, but I knew some of the Wakelins.
