My Grandfather "Daniel Frederick WINFIELD" died in Sheffield on 19th September 1959. None of our family have any idea where he was buried. He did in Sheffield, I think in Darnal. Can anybody assist me please.

Roy, the only Daniel FWinfield death record I can find ( FreeBMD) is June Quarter 1955 in Sheffield. He was 76. Sorry cannot help with burial.

Not many of the 1955 burial indexes have been transcribed.

From the Probate Index dated July 1955.

Daniel Frederick Winfield of 100 Elmham Road Darnall
died 2 Herries Road aged 76. Born 31st Jan 1879.
Wife Dora Loftus Winfield.

Tinsley Park Cemetery would be the closest but not always where the burial took place.

Suggestion.

Phone City Road Bereavement Services they administer all the Municipal Cemeteries in Sheffield.
