Re: Who occupied a Pitsmoor. Sheffield UK address in 1920?

Hugh my friend! You have given me the link that I have been looking for. I had suspected that Ellen (Nellie) Best was a Holliday before marriage. Charles, her father died 1902. One of his daughters was an Elizabeth Holliday dob 1881/2, later Elizabeth Moore. So the Ellen Best that left New Brunswick with Alec had a final destination in Fox Street, staying with her sister and/ or brother-in-law.

Thank you.

Thanks for that. I was wanting to link Ellen Best nee Holliday to this address and why she had this as a destination address in 1920, after leaving Canada. Hugh provided that link.

In 1939 Ellen now aged 61, was living in Bournemouth UK, with her eldest son Ernest Noel Best and daughter in law. Alec her youngest son was then in the RAFVR, stationed at Thornaby Yorkshire.
