Many thanks Angela

Re: FMP help please

Hi Lyn,
Further to Angela's findings. William Salt's wife Ellen Salt was probably Ellen King from Huntingdonshire (listed on 1911 census as being from Warboro, Hunts)
In 1891,18th Nov., when Charles Frederick was baptized, the family were living on Makin Street, Attercliffe cum Darnall in Trinity Parish but in 1901 they were still on Makin St, but now listed as St.Alban parish.
Above and more. to be found on Family Search website

Re: FMP help please

Hi Lyn,

P.S.

Not sure if this means anything, on the Sheffield City Council website in births
Charles Frederick Salt has two entries: both for 1891
Reg: 67 Entry: 91 District: Attercliffe

Reg:69 Entry: 61 District: Attercliffe

Re: FMP help please

Hi Lyn I have William and Ellen Salt in my Family Tree. Sarah Salt( mother of William)is my great grandmother. Do you have any information on William's father and Sarah's parents? Regards Ena

Re: FMP help please

From the GRO it does look like Ellen is Ellen King the two children shown on the 1911 census Ellen and Charles both show up on the GRO as mothers maiden name King. Ellen King married William Salt in 1877.
On the 1871 census census Ellens parents are William and Sarah King, Sarah is possibly Ward
