Salt Charles Frederick b 1892 d 1892 bur 1892 aged 10 mths England & Wales Deaths 1837-2007 Sheffield, Yorkshire, England
Could someone please get me a copy of the original record please? It should be Attercliffe Christ Church. I do have the CD with the transript on but I am hoping to get parent's name.
Parents are not listed on this entry in the burial register. There is a baptism in November 1891
For Charles Frederick SALT at Darnall. Parents are William and Ellen.
I'll send a copy.
Many thanks Angela
Further to Angela's findings. William Salt's wife Ellen Salt was probably Ellen King from Huntingdonshire (listed on 1911 census as being from Warboro, Hunts)
In 1891,18th Nov., when Charles Frederick was baptized, the family were living on Makin Street, Attercliffe cum Darnall in Trinity Parish but in 1901 they were still on Makin St, but now listed as St.Alban parish.
Above and more. to be found on Family Search website
Not sure if this means anything, on the Sheffield City Council website in births
Charles Frederick Salt has two entries: both for 1891
Reg: 67 Entry: 91 District: Attercliffe
Reg:69 Entry: 61 District: Attercliffe
Hi Lyn I have William and Ellen Salt in my Family Tree. Sarah Salt( mother of William)is my great grandmother. Do you have any information on William's father and Sarah's parents? Regards Ena
From the GRO it does look like Ellen is Ellen King the two children shown on the 1911 census Ellen and Charles both show up on the GRO as mothers maiden name King. Ellen King married William Salt in 1877.
On the 1871 census census Ellens parents are William and Sarah King, Sarah is possibly Ward
