WW1

I have the war records etc of my great uncle Thomas Harrison who was killed in France in 1918 he was in the Durham Light Infantry 15th Battalion my question is ,did they have like a team photo with their names underneath the photo ,I have been on the Durham web site there is lots of information and photos ,but none that I can recognise ,if anyone could help that would be brilliant ,also i do apologise about the team photo bit.

Thank you
Chris

Re: WW1

Chris, in my experience a "group photo in ww1 would be a company, ie 80 to 150 men. Typically the company commander , a major or captain might be named. If you are lucky the lieutenants may also be named. Typically the men would be in full uniform, including cap, making them very difficult to identify
