Missing Burngreave Burial

Hi,

There is a burial on FMP for Rachael Crowder that took place on the 12th March 1868 at Burngreave Cemetery; however, I cannot locate this burial on the records on this site.

Could anyone check if it is missing or has been transcribed incorrectly?

Many thanks
Claire

Re: Missing Burngreave Burial

Here she is

CROWDER , Racheal (Widow, age 70).
Died at Sheffield Workhouse; Buried on March 12, 1868 in Consecrated ground;
Grave Number 9, Section P9 of Burngreave Cemetery, Sheffield.
Parent or Next of Kin if Available: . Remarks: .

Re: Missing Burngreave Burial

Thanks Vicki. That's very bizarre why she's come up straight away for you but I've tried for a couple of hours to find her and she's not coming up at all for me.

Re: Missing Burngreave Burial

There is an error in the record. If you search Crowder she does not come up. If you search Crowder with a space at the end then she comes up. If you had used crowder* you would have found her

Ah thanks for that Dave. I will remember to do that in future if I come across the same issue :)

Re: Missing Burngreave Burial

PS. Forum seems it doesn't like the heat as well. LOL

Adding to my previous message I think its the spelling of Rachael/Racheal thats the problem.

Will sort it out, it will have to be spelt they way it is in the register.

Elaine in Ottawa.

Hi Claire
Checked the original image and it is Rachael.
I have updated the CROWDER entry so the search should work correctly now
