Some of my ancestors were buried in Eckington, Sheffield from around 1744 through to 1801, where would they have been buried as the Eckington Cemetery wasn't opened until mid 1800s.

They would be buried in the churchyard of SS Peter and Paul. This has recently been cleared and gravestones that we haven't seen for years are now accessible. The cemetery opened in 1877. I have the MI's for the churchyard
