I am looking for any information regarding MINNIE HODGKINSON (1916 to ????)

She was born in 1916 to William Hodgkinson (1881 to 1939) and his wife Mary Bell (1882 to 1968)

She married Alfred Green and had a daughter called Pauline in 1942 it is believed that the family were living in the fox hill area at this time.

after this im no certain what became of Alfred as Minnie then had a son, George born 1948 o GEORGE HEALD (1906 to 1972)

Any assistance anyone can offer is appreciated

I realize not the dates you are interested in but it maybe a lead as you start going back.

George Heald, born 21 May 1948, baptised 6 June 1948, St. Mary.
Parents - Minnie and George, 4ct 5 Suffolk Road, labourer.

I can't find a marriage for Minnie and George.

I dont have anything after william im afraid however i wonder if your minnie had any siblings? a younger brother maybe?

My Minnie is my wifes grandmother and we have no idea what became of her.....

My relative.
Minnie Thompson Hodgkinson born Sep qtr 1870 Died June qtr 1872 buried
at All Saints Ecclesall.

She was the first child of Arthur Dungworth Hodgkinson (1845-1913) & Sarah Ann Thompson (1847-1938).

Arthur had 11 children many dying very young. There is NO William.

Do you have the 1911 census info for your William I believe they were living on Woodside Lane at that time.

Using FreeBMD which you could do to check the info. I did find the following.

Deaths Mar 1952
GREEN Minnie 39 Huddersfield 12b 820

Though the age does not quite match ages at death could be wrong and they were quite often.

Minnie was born March qtr 1916 Sheffield 9c 1102
Mother maiden name BELL which matches the info you gave us.

Minnie Green 11 Feb 1916 Unpaid Domestic Duties
Alfred Green 23 May 1908 Signal Wireman Lner
