Having established the burial of Frederick Watson Chatterton I am trying to trace the family back.
Frederick Watson Chatterton was born 1 October 1889 in Sheffield
Fredericks parents were Arthur Chatterton and Mary White married 1875
Arthur was born 20 April 1852 and died in 1890
Mary White born abt.1849, Bolton, Upon Dearne, Yorkshire, England died in 1936
Arthur Chatterton's father was Samuel Chatterton abt. 1817-1879???
Arthur's mother Elizabeth NELL 1821-?? married in 1838
I have the 1871 census for Arthur and Elizabeth so Elizabeth died after 1871??
There are 2 Samuel Chatterton's one born 1817 parents John and Elizabeth
the second Samuel was born in 1818 parents William & Elizabeth
I also would like to find the surname of Elizabeth? (Samuel's wife)
Where I am not sure which Samuel is correct 1817 or 1818
Most burials for the Chatterton's are in City Road cemetery
Appreciate any assistance
