Trying to find a long lost relative before its too late. Looking for my dads sisters daughter Elaine Jones born 1939 I think she may have married John Haywood in 1962.
My dad Irvin Oldfield Steadman was the brother of Renee Oldfield born 1911 Wombwell.

I would suggest you post your request in the Barnsley area if you have not already done so.

Information on the marriage could be helpful. i.e. Johns address and occupation.
See if you can trace any of his family.

Have you checked for any of their (John/Elaine) children.

Forgive me if I'm way off base here, but there is a John E.Haywood showing up on the 192.com website in Nottingham NG3 and the listing shows he is 65+ and lives with Elaine Haywood and Michelle Haywood. Could this be your relative?

Searching for a Martin Haywood b.1969 in Yorkshire on FMP gives an electoral roll result.
There is a Martin Haywood living in Barnsley as late as 2014. Living with him are Elaine Lawson and John Lawson.

If Sue has not already informed you:

Elaine Haywood re-married in 1982 at Barnsley to John Lawson

and as Sue pointed out, they were both living with Elaine's son, Martin in Barnsley on the 2014/15 electoral roll.

Not sure about this match:
There is a Lee Haywood (50-54(2 years out for Lee B:1966) on the 2005-2018 electoral roll living with Nicole McGuigan(aged 45-49) and Jimmy Haywood (aged 25-29) at Barnsley.

There was a Shirley Jones born 1934 Barnsley with mmn Oldfield.(possible sister for Elaine? Renee Oldfield married in 1933 at Barnsley to William Jones.

Thanks for all that. like you say not sure about the last bit. First priority is to try and contact Elaine. Yes that marriage is correct for 1933.
