Reed, Catherine (of ~, born 1843-06-10).
Baptised June 18, 1843, by J Canut at St Maries, Sheffield Centre.
Parents name(s) are ~ & Michael (~).
Godparents: Patrick Reed :Page No 55 :Reg No ~
The 1851 census has them living on Water Lane Sheffield 3.
Which ran from Carlisle St to Bridge St.
Michael was aged 43 yrs old and a Lab. Born Ireland as was his wife Bridget aged 40yrs.
They have two daughters
Catherine as above born 1843. In Sheffield.
Bridget aged 15yrs born Ireland.
"Kathleen" you will note on Catherine's baptismal record where we have Tilde (~) which means there is NO further information.

As you are planning a visit (from USA) next year what are you hoping to find?
I believe that area was extensively bombed during WW2 and is probably in a industrial area now. I am sure others will fill you in re the geography.
