Barry,
the Arthur Foster burial you found on this site was buried in the same grave as Frederick Bugg who died in 1946 age 75 and at the same address given for Arthur Foster who died in 1968. Also there is a marriage of Arthur Foster to Maggie Bugg in 1947 Sheffield.
That would imply it is not the correct Arthur

I see that the death shows a birth date of 22nd September 1899 which is the same shown on the 1939 register so this looks spot on to me.
