Hi
Can anybody help me I am looking for the parents of George Grayson who was born around 1758/1760 Bradfield who married a Martha Nickols born around 1760 married 3 August 1785 Bradfield St Nicholas Church.
The only Baptism for a George Grayson is 25 Dec 1758 Bradfield father Thomas Grayson.

Hannah Bapt 5 July 1795
Samuel Bapt 27 May 1798
Isaac Bapt 6 July 1800
All was Baptised at Saint Peter Sheffield Cathedral.

I would be grateful for any information on George & Martha.

Hi Jennifer,

The problem with Bradfield is that until recently the registers had not been transcribed.

We started with the marriages and what you see are all the ones that were readable.

The baptisms we started back in 1723 and are currently up to 1763 and they have been uploaded to our database.

There were a number of pages that had deteriorated badly so we were not able to transcribe them. The Archives will have the originals if you would like to try and glean from them more than we did.
