hi, im trying to find where my great grandfather Thomas Nixon Offiler is buried. 4/10/1876 - 1952. In the 1939 register he lived at 22 Handsworth Rd Sheffield and was a widow, his wife Jessie is at Crookes cemetery i have found this grave,

Hello Dawn, my guess is he was probably cremated.

Not on FMP or Ancestry.
On the GRO as Thomas 2d 230 Sheffield, you'll have to go to City rd Bereavement services.

Elaine was right. Thomas Offiler, aged 75, was cremated on 21 Mar 1952 in City Road Crematorium. His cremation number is 12928 and Bereavement Services can tell you what happened to his ashes. regards, Christine
