Sharon, you can use the free GRO index to determine whether they had more children. Just search for Gibson births with mother maiden name Wood, or perhaps hollinshead in the required time period

The family are living 44 Peace Street, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent in the 1911 census. Going under the name of Hollinshead, John head of household is a coal miner working underground born in 1868 at Bagnall, Staffordshire, Sarah Ann born 1867 Milton, Staffs, 4 daughters Lily M. b.1895, Ethel b.1898, Ada b.1904 and Annie b.1907, sons were Harold b.1901 and William H. b.1909 all Hanley. The census states they have been married for 21 years, had 9 children with 6 living in 1911.
It looks as though they originated in the Staffordshire are since in 1901 census they have Joseph Harrison b.1817 Milton, (widowed father-in-law) living with them. I can't find any reference of them being in Sheffield. Another son in 1901 was John b.1891 also in Hanley.
Sharon, my earlier message assumed your great grandparents were further back than that. I now realise that you are looking for someone born in the 1920s. Therefore you need to use free BMD rather than GRO index. The question is the same, but free BMD is easier to use.

I have found Ada J. Gibson in the 1939 Register, she is living 37 Mollart Street, Stoke-on-Trent with Joseph A. Marriott b.17 March 1905 as head of household and property owner, also living there (as a closed record i.e. they were dead by 1991) is J Hollinshead b.21 Sept 1866 (retired corporation labourer). Ada is shown as married with her birthdate given as 19 April 1904. There are 2 more closed records, i.e. still alive in 1991 which could be either 2 children, or her husband and a child. From BMD it looks as though they only had John in 1926 and think Joseph was still living in 1991 so think they are the 2 closed records.
