Hi, i'm trying to find out the names of my grandad thomas lockwoods parents.
He was born either in 1898 or 99 in sheffield. i know he died in 1968 at the age of 69. if anyone has access to ancestry? and wouldn't mind looking up this info for me? i will be very grateful

If you look at the baptisms on this site, you will find your Thomas.
Go to parish records in the left hand column and then baptisms.

Ann, to find what you want does not require access to Ancestry or FMP. In addition to Moira's answer you can also use the GRO index (free) to find his birth and mother maiden name. That then allows you to use the same index to find all his brothers and sisters. The marriage of his parents you can find on FreeBmd.
