My 4th great grandparents were Josiah Whitaker and Amelia Wilson and I know they were married on 3rd April 1777 at Cathedral St. Peter and that they had a daughter Ann 1778 and a son Henry !780, but I know nothing more about Josiah and Amelia. I don't know when they were born or who their parents were. Can anybody help? I would be really grateful. Thanks.
Thanks. Certainly Ann did as she married my 3rd great grandfather Thomas Maxfield and the Maxfields were in Sheffield until the mid nineteenth century. Her brother was also born in Sheffield, but I can't fin any record of Josiah and Amelia before their marriage.
