Please Could verify for me the death record which was given to me by another researcher
although he was not sure if this is the correct one, it is for a Florence Valerie Spencer Born 22 - 10 - 1921 and died February 2005 in Sheffield Reg No E102A District No 048/1E Entry No 272. although the date of birth is about right her name is given as Florence Spencer. she was born 1921 in Concord N S W Australia, married Joseph Edward Spencer 21 - 04 - 1942 in Old Brampton Derbyshire. I have tried to order a copy of this record from the G R O Office but for some reason they will not accept the date and number that I have give them from the G R O record.

Which looks to be what you have quoted.

I would contact the GRO directly and ask them the reason they will not issue a certificate.

Could it be that Ancestry is incorrect.
