Hi, I'm trying to find some information about my Great Granddad Benjamin ward.
i know he was born in 1883 in Sheffield but i don't know when or where he died? any help will be appreciated

Do you have him on any census so you can pin point roughly when he was still alive?

Knowing that you can then look on FreeBMD and see if you can spot a likely person.

Have you looked at our burial records?

Have you checked for his birth registration on FreeBMD and maybe a baptism.

We need dates and more information to be able to help.

From FMP Benjamin Ward married Maria Cropper, Maria Crapper or Elizabeth Brothwell in Sheffield in the second quarter of 1903.

Benjamin Ward married Alice Jackson in the first quarter of 1905.

Benjamin Ward married Violet Edwards in the second quarter of 1912.All Sheffield records of exact birth year 1883. After that there is a marriage of 1938, unlikely to be your man.
