Re: John Hannam motor engineer

Hi Steve,

Not what you are looking for, but I thought it was quite amusing.

Sheffield Daily Telegraph, 17 September 1904.
John Booth charged with stealing a bicycle.
Prisoner hired a cycle from Mr. S. F. Hannam at 154 Main Road, Darnall.
Instead of returning the machine, he took it to the establishment of
Mr. Charles Hannam, 131 Bramall Lane, and offered it for sale. This
gentleman is the brother to the prosecutor and being unaware that it was
stolen, purchased the machine for 12s 6d.

Moira.
