In 1871 the family is 'HILLINGSWORTH' (indexed as 'HOLLINGWORTH' by Ancestry).

These may the burials of the parents at Ecclesall All Saints:

ILLINGWORTH Charles 27 Jun 1879 Union Workhouse 43
ILLINGWORTH Mary Ann 20 Nov 1877 Highfield 38

THE CHERRYTREE ORPHANAGE.-- The treasurer
acknowledges with thanks the receipt of £5. 5s.,
from the Edge Tool and Wool Shear Grinders'
Association. The committee admitted into the
institution on the 12th. inst. three orphan children
of the late Charles Illingworth, edge tool grinder.

The passenger lists on Findmypast list Harriet as a spinster so she may have travelled alone to the States.

Following on from Hugh's information-in the 1881 census there are 3 Illingworth sisters in The Orphanage, Totley, Sheffield.

Sarah Illingworth 12
Nellie Illingworth 4
Bertha Illingworth 7
Piece: 4628 Folio: 96 Page Number: 9
