Hi to all.
Just wondered if anybody had a list or disc of later buials for City Road .
There is a burial for Thomas Morgan ( grave number 2527 Section C1 in 1937 ,and wondered if there is a Emily buried there in the 1960's or any other Morgan burials.
I am told by a elderly relative that Emily Gittins married a Thomas Morgan and would luv to know if this was him.

The archives house most of the burial records for sheffield. They have the continuation of the City Rd records up to 1996 available to search on microfilm.

Hiya Tony .
I was just doing some detective work , i was told Emily Gittins married a chap with the surname Morgan and a elderly relative who still lives in Sheffield never met him , but i found the marriage on fmb to be Thomas Morgan .
Emily lived Newton Lane Court on 1911 census and theres a Thomas Morgan Living Jessop St in 1911 . So this could be the chap !!!!.
As for the burial mentioned this is the right age for the chap if its the chap ??
Emily died in the 60's i am told and there is a death for a Emily Morgan in Sheffield 1966 aged 70 which would be dead on for being her .
