Has any body found the birth date of a George Wheatcroft born c1851 in Sheffield, he is listed in the 1851 as George "Weatcroft" aged 8 months I have not found him in the 1861 or 1871 census's he is listed in the 1881 census living in Sands Paviours Sheffield,also I am looking for the marriage of his parents William Wheatcroft and his wife Ann ? c1835.

There is an interesting birth registration in Sheffield - in the third qtr of 1850 - of a George Henry Wheatcroft - Volume 22- page 640.
The 1841 census - peice 1333- folio 12/5 - page 3
shows William Wheatcroft b 1811- occupation (carter)
Ann Wheatcroft - wife b 1816
Elizabeth Wheatcroft - daughter b 1835
Mary Wheatcroft -daughter b 1837
Lucy - daughter b 1840
Living at Rockingham Lane Ecclesall Bierlow.
Wiiliam is down as not being born in Yorkshire,but the rest of the family are.
