Attercliffe Municipal Cemetery - Headstone (One for Tony)

Hi Tony,

I believe you may have photographed the headstones at Attercliffe Municiple Cemetery. I have located a ancestor at Plot D3887c, which is a John Reckless (and his two wifes)

I would be grateful if you could let me know if the plot has a headstone and if you have an image.

I have checked and there is a memorial at this plot.

Many thanks for the image.

How do I best access the Cemetery? Is if off Attercliffe Common, opposite the Ice Sheffield?

Hello Mark

You may be thinking of Hill Top cemetery. The main entrance to the municipal cemetery is further down towards town, not quite opposite the bottom of Worksop Road

Edit - We have a section map in the burial section, the memorial you are after is on the outer part of section D
