If the hood didn’t have its problems already, when the city crew from across the tracks decided to chop down several trees on our side of the track they must have forgotten que the tree at the corner of wells and third street was the oldest tree in the county. Furthermore it was on private property. La familia Jackson were very upset and called the constable to arrest this dang fools. When the constable got there it so happen que the tree was falling an fell on top of the constables car. Charges will be filed against the city workers, the city and the county. El constable tells us que he will recover for the injuries he received when the dang tree fell on him.
Late last night an eight alarm bucket fire was report at the corner of wells and Third Street, where an upper apartment complex was on fire. When los vatos locos volunteer firefighters got there on their 1978 red ford whatever. The found la commadre Sonja perez yelling for help on top of the carport next to the apartment. When two of los locos told her to jump, well she did. And she landed on top of both los locos, causing some serious injuries to them. What I failed to tell you is que la comadre Sonja only weighted 350 lbs. there will be no charges filed against her. Oh by the way the apartment did burn down to the ground. An investigation is being done on the cause of the fire.
Yesterday after noon el constable cadena was called to the residents of la family Mendez where el senor Mendez tried to beat up the tuffs vato in the hood, his youngest son. The constable was not sure how the fight started but did find que el senor Mendez was on the ground lying in a pool of water. It seems que the younger Mendez, esa tuff vato didn’t even give his father a chance to lay a blow, instead he caught his dad off guard and used a water hoes to cool him off.
