855-47 is quite a lead (kidding I know you meant leading by 8 with a score of 55-47).

So what's the season's outlook? Are both gonna be pretty good?

The Pocahontas girls win by 11 over the Chargers.
The Lady Warriors are #8 in the most recent coaches poll I could find and have a good shot at making the state tournament in Charleston.
The boys were #10 in a recent poll. Beating Richwood in the sectionals by 2 points last season was not easy and won't be easy again this year.
Should be a great matchup with Richwood early on in the playoffs. Mount Hope should present a challenge in the regionals even without Marion. The boys have a legitimate chance to make it back to Charleston.

Native Son: you should have seen the girls' game last night. I don't believe I have ever seen a game where there were so many fouls called. There were at least 40--the score board wouldn't show any more. So I estimate about 50 for the whole game for both teams. PCHS did win and they have some great players. The boys' team is good too. Check out their season in the Poca. Times to keep up with them.
