Love it or hate it?
I remember when it came out in '83 the critics hated it, said it would scare the kiddies, the Santa in Higgebs Store was supposed to be the worst offender. Now it's a classic!!

I love it, watch it every Christmas, reminds me of what it was like to be a kid during the Christmas Season.

The best Christmas movie ever made. I just watched it again. And as a youngster I grew up in a family and kid environment like this one in the same time era.

The movie is now running round the clock on TV

I love the movie. I have watched it so many times and never tire of it. I especially love the part about the broken glasses, the tongue stuck to the pole, the Chinese Christmas dinner...oh what the heck, I liked every frame of it.

That movie is the worst movie ever and I wish they would take it off tv and put something else on in its place that is 100% better than You'll shoot your eye out... My kids even hate that movie

It is interesting that "O" while "HATING" this movie still seems to watch it often and even does so with his/her kids.

I guess it has to do with opposites attracting each other.

I guess his TV just twists his/her arm to make him watch.
