im not agint progress at all but is there enough crime in poc county to support the addition of so many sheriff deputies and a crime lab.it seems like a very low crime rare to me so whats up.

The crime lab and deputies to cover Snowshoe is a power trip. Other wise security would have been left to Snowshoe and crime labs could be regional or the state police lab could be used.

Actually it matters little, because once the officers do their job, the courts and a slick lawyer will get the crimal released on a technicality.

Larger staff = more tax dollars.

You hit the nail on the head when you said this was a Power Trip. The Sheriff just wants to have 10 Deputies run to him everytime he snaps his fingers. Or more people to surround him everyday he goes out to eat lunch. No other purpose for the extra Deputies.
