Fayetteville-The Pocahontas County Golf team placed first at the Region III championship at Bridge Haven Golf Course on Monday.
Pocahontas County won overall team competition with a score of 370. Midland Trail was second with a 386.
The Warriors were led by Cody Hill(85),Tim Gibb(92),Logan Plumley(95),Reid Harper(98) and Garrett Clark (98).
Pocahontas County will compete in the state tournament which gets under way Monday in Wheeling.

Good job finishing 7th in the State Tournament Warriors.
