Welcome to The Voice Connection Sound Off; a forum for users of books like Raise Your Voice, Melody to Madness, The Ultimate Breathing Workout, and Unleash Your Creative Mindset, as well as a place for Vendera Vocal Academy members to interact.

This message board was created so that singers could come together and "sound off" to help support each other during vocal development and the creative process of unleashing the creative spark that occurs when writing and producing music. Currently, myself and vocal coaches Ben Valen, Ray West, and Ryan Wall are here to respond periodicially to your questions, with new vocal coaches coming soon. But, feel free to help each other too:)

This board is here for you to ask questions about my and my fellow coach's books, videos, and MP3 programs, as well as offer others help with our vocal techniques. You may also post videos of yourself and your band to share your music and ask for critiques.

Please refrain from negative comments, profanities, spamming, and inappropriate criticisms of vocal methodologies, vocal coaches, and singers. All negative posts will be deleted and subject to banning without question. I will not respond to negative posts, because, as Mark Twain once said, “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.” With that said, positive criticism is welcome because that is how you'll grow as a singer during the training process.

CONTEST/WEB PROMOTION

Hello everyone,
All participants are doing extremely well. I am so happy that everyone has taken this much of an interest in this contest. I want to clarify a few thing to help everyone out. Each submission will be worth one point, with the exception to posting on message forums. A proven post on a message forum will be worth 2 points. I know this is new, but I thought this would meke it interesting :) This will help to promote the website throughout the web so please don't be mad. This change really hasn't affected anybody as all of you have done extremely well in all categories.

When posting on forums, please mention my name, my profession (vocal coach for rock singers) the webaddress, the names of both books-Raise Your Voice, and The Ultimate Breathing Workout, and my appearances on television proving me as the first singer in the world ever documented to shatter a wineglass by voice alone. Please, also, do not spam or promote on any foriums that do not allow you to promote a website, or do so in such a way that it helps the forums viewers. I do not wish to SPAM anyone, only to help people find the site. Any forum posts that have already occured are accepted the way that they are :)

If you submit a name of a singer, website, or product that is already listed on The Voice Connection, that submission will not count as a point. Now, it doesn't matter if everybody submits some of the same links, as no one will really know who submits what, the goal is just to submit as much as possible.

Also make sure that every submission has the actual web address. You do not have to have http://www. But, you must have, for example, thevoiceconnection.com, as opposed to only the name, the voice connection. We are so busy working on expanding that we do not have time to search through every submission, (except for the message boards ;)Great job, and GOOD LUCK!!!!
