Feeling. Chapter 20: Falsetto Development RYV

Hello everybody

As I explained in my presentation message, I do not have the necessary connection to take online courses with Jaime. ( FRANCE )
So I have a few questions.

1. When Jaime speaks of cleaning the air in the voice, is it normal to feel like a closure in the throat, a bit like when passing the PASSAGIO, but very light? A kind of sudden connection feeling ...
In fact, we would go back to M1, but very light, is that right?
If this is false, this joint in the throat would mean that I go back to M1, whereas it would be necessary to do differently ...

2. Is it normal to feel like fatigue after exercise? Not a feeling of pain, but like a muscle cramp in the throat, and also an inability to go into the top of his range for the rest of the day.

Your second question I have to say no to. Try this: Drink A LOT of water throughout the day and while you're practising. And the most important: Learn to master the support Jaime presents in Raise Your Voice.

For me it sounds like you don't support enough and that you are singing from your throut - trust me, it takes some time to learn to support!

Read about support in the book and practise placeing a book on your stomic every night in 15 minutes to master your breath

Your answer has just made me aware.

I think people like me, who try to sing with the throat, think too much with the throat. I just made a vocalise series by forgetting my throat, and making the direct link between my support and resonance and it seems to work.

Can be a trick to remember for beginners who have this problem.

In any case, I feel that the training in Falsetto is making me aware of the importance of the resonance.
