Welcome to The Voice Connection Sound Off; a forum for users of books like Raise Your Voice, Melody to Madness, The Ultimate Breathing Workout, and Unleash Your Creative Mindset, as well as a place for Vendera Vocal Academy members to interact.

This message board was created so that singers could come together and "sound off" to help support each other during vocal development and the creative process of unleashing the creative spark that occurs when writing and producing music. Currently, myself and vocal coaches Ben Valen, Ray West, and Ryan Wall are here to respond periodicially to your questions, with new vocal coaches coming soon. But, feel free to help each other too:)

This board is here for you to ask questions about my and my fellow coach's books, videos, and MP3 programs, as well as offer others help with our vocal techniques. You may also post videos of yourself and your band to share your music and ask for critiques.

Please refrain from negative comments, profanities, spamming, and inappropriate criticisms of vocal methodologies, vocal coaches, and singers. All negative posts will be deleted and subject to banning without question. I will not respond to negative posts, because, as Mark Twain once said, “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.” With that said, positive criticism is welcome because that is how you'll grow as a singer during the training process.

Hey singers, it's your coach

Sooo sorry I am hardly on here, but I do check in when I can. So swamped knocking out year two for that I fall behind. Once I finish that curriculum, I'll post in here more often. You all should join our singing Facebook group to stay in touch more often though:) -

As well, I have been working with other coaches on their books and even wrote two new ones myself, but holding onto them for a bit to pace the releases. Working on finishing the next two Extreme Scream products too. In case you missed it, The Rock and Metal Singer's Warmup Routine is part of the ES series;)

Also knocking out the 4th video in the Beyond the Voice series.

Now for some freebies...
The Ultimate Vocal Warmup is now free! It is on the audio link page at

You can also get free vocal training videos/articles by me at (Guitar Interactive Magazine) starting with Issue #21. Look for "Jaime Vendera's Vocal Bootcamp"

And I've also started recording song. Working on 4 simultaneously. Just released one today via iTunes and a bunch of different outlets. Just look for LISA by Vendera&Stith. You can listen to it at's a pretty laid back acoustic song about the death of a loved one. Think my highest note (for you range freaks) is only a Tenor D in this one. It didn't call for high notes. You got to know when to focus on emotion and tone, and when to scream your brains out;) Don't worry, the screamers are coming, mwahahahaha;)

See you soon,

Jaime Vendera
